Structural Bodywork
Structural Bodywork is a form of hands-on bodywork whose goal is to open, balance and align the body, working with connective tissue, including the fascia which surrounds your entire body. By doing this we can create change in your alignment and increase the agency of your whole body system to move with less pain, discomfort, and more freedom.
Common reasons that individuals seek structural bodywork:
Reducing or eliminating chronic pain
Unwinding trauma from stress, acute injuries, surgeries or other major life events
Exploring ways to increase the body’s flexibility so movement is easier
Releasing fatigued muscles or areas of discomfort
Learning new actions and body mechanics so injury or stress is avoided
